Welcome to the West Metro Holiday Parade of Lights Website!
Come and be a part of the only "night time" parade in the South Carolina Midlands.

The 2009 West Metro Holiday Parade of Lights will be held on Sunday, December 6th at 5:30 P.M. Registration will end on Wednesday, November 18th, 2009 and will be limited to the first 100 entries received. The parade will be shown on WACH FOX TV on Saturday, December 12th (Either 6PM or 7PM) and on Friday December 25th between 6AM - 9AM.
The Driver's Meeting will be held at Brookland Cayce High School Auditorium (1300 State Street in Cayce) on Monday, November 30th at 6:30pm. We will have your line-up information to hand out that night. It is important that you send someone to that meeting to pick up your information! We will also have helpful hints from WACH FOX 57, who will be televising the parade for the 3rd consecutive year! They will be there to help you really make your entry stand out for TV. Officers from the local police departments will be there to help instruct you where to enter the staging area the day of the parade. We will have great door prizes from our sponsors & chamber members so you really don't want to miss this meeting!
This year the West Metro Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center is teaming up with WACH FOX to support the Lexington County location of the Harvest Hope Food Bank. All participants & spectators are encouraged to bring donations in time for the holidays! Collection bins will be located through out the parade route and at the staging area. Harvest
